I have a macbook pro with OS X Yosemite, and I am trying to install Google Chrome on my computer. However, the app is not available in the Mac App Store, nor can I find it anywhere else. Is there some kind of restriction preventing the app from being downloaded Google Chrome is not available in the Mac App Store because Apple does not allow applications to be distributed outside the Mac App Store.
As per the screenshot below, there is a yellow arrow in the top left of the screen pointing towards the URL for installing the application. Clicking this will download the application to your hard drive. The reason that I have not installed Google Chrome on my Macbook pro is because I use Safari as my web browser, and I also use Mail.app as my email client. However, I would like to change my web browser, and I believe that installing Google Chrome would make this a lot easier.

To save a web page for offline viewing:
1. Open Chrome.
2. In the top right corner, click the three lines in a row.
3. Click the Bookmark button.
